Camping in an RV can be uncomfortable if the space is full of large furniture and clutter. Mounting a television on the wall is a more secure alternative than placing it on a television stand, and it frees up floor space. There are no studs in an RV, making toggle screws a good way to mount the television.
Instructions
- 1
Hold the mounting bracket at eye level on the wall and mark the screw locations with a pencil.
2Verify that the mounting bracket is even using a level.
3Pre-drill the four holes in the wall where the bracket will go. Remove the screws from the wall.
4Press one toggle into each hole, and hammer the toggle until it is flush with the wall surface.
5Place the mounting bracket on the wall, lining up the holes with the toggles. Drive one screw into each toggle to secure the bracket to the wall.
6Hook the television on to the mounting bracket and verify that the television is fully supported and not able to shift around.
