How to Set Up for Sony Bravia

How to Set Up for Sony Bravia

The Bravia is a high-definition, LCD-based television from Sony. The system is flat-screened and does require some assembly once it is purchased from the store. Thankfully, once connected, you only need to hook up the cable connection ports from your exterior audio/video device to the Bravia television. All supplies are provided, aside from a Phillips screwdriver.

Instructions

    1

Remove all the hardware and provided equipment from the Bravia television. Hold the TV on its head, so the top of the TV is resting on the ground. Slide the provided base into the open slot at the bottom of the TV.

    2

Tighten the four provided screws into the rear of the Sony Bravia. This secures the base of the television, preventing it from coming loose.

    3

Set the Bravia TV on your TV stand or entertainment center.

    4

Insert the audio/video cables into the "Video Out" connection ports on the equipment to which you want to send audio/video signals. Plug the other end of the cables into the "Video In" connection ports on the Sony Bravia. The Bravia has RCA, component, coaxial and HDMI connections available.

    5

Power on the Sony Bravia and push "Input" on the remote control. Select the input display you want to view, and the information appears on the screen.
